Our Story

On a bright and sunny day’s picnic, two women dreamed too loud and too wide. Its always risky because we know for sure that dreams come true. Nikolia was a dream. And still is. Started in laughing heads of Ruta and Ieva, it quickly got a material form. As kids were playing around and getting bruises on their knees, we started with play resistant denim garments. Educated ourselves in this specific field and did our first collection that was a success but…

The power of doing something different, unseen and ethereal was accumulating and we started introducing more pieces that were named as “out of this world” by media and new customers. Bit by bit denim started to limit us and the collections grew into almost haute couture style. Still the most important rule we have for our designs is to keep it playful and comfortable for little personalities.

Today Nikolia is one of the leading kidswear brands creativity and fashion wise. Made of high end materials, fabrics, plenty of hand embroidery or other details requiring hand touch and greatest care for every piece. We are proud of how we work and with whom we work. We are proud of our unbelievable loyal team that is with us from the start of the brand and getting fuller each season.

The truths we believe in are set in our workers heads and we love to see how they care about the product and final result. One goal is achieved. To make it more spicy, let us admit that both of us, Ruta and Ieva, went through multiple challenges and hard moments. It was never easy. We worked day and night to make our dream come true. And motivated each other by looking forward and never back. And today. We have goals and we have dreams. And we have power to make it come true. See you soon
